Every Piece Begins With Possibility

For Bobby Anderson, discarded objects are rarely finished.

At RVA246 Studio in Memphis, forgotten machine parts, vintage hardware, worn tools, and reclaimed steel are transformed into one-of-a-kind works filled with character, function, and story.

Anderson’s practice brings together fine art, visual storytelling, intuitive adaptation, and resourceful problem-solving. Each sculpture begins without a fixed blueprint. The materials guide the process, suggesting balance, movement, purpose, and personality.

The result is art that feels discovered as much as designed.
