Data Dastard is a towering piece of sculptural lighting built from reclaimed metal, vintage components, found objects, and a healthy amount of villainous ambition.
At 64 inches tall, he has the presence of a character who clearly expects to be in charge. A polished crown, sweeping mustache, articulated arms, and glowing head and hands transform discarded mechanical parts into an elaborate figure filled with personality.
Then there is the hidden storage compartment, naturally reserved for secret plans.

Built for World Domination
Data Dastard grew from an assortment of objects that once had completely different jobs. Through intuitive adaptation, mechanical forms became anatomy, expression, costume, and character.
His adjustable arms and head allow his attitude to change with the pose. Light completes the transformation, illuminating his head and both hands and giving the sculpture an entirely different presence after dark.
Part sculpture, part functional lighting, part comic-book supervillain, Data Dastard was made to command a room.
There is only one Data Dastard.
