Built by hand from salvaged metal and found components, the figure leans into the posture of an archer, bow drawn, body tense, attention fixed forward. The illuminated element becomes part of the action, turning light itself into the final point of the composition.
There is a sense that the sculpture is holding its breath.

Light, Drama, and Character
The First Draw began with individual objects that had entirely different purposes. Through intuitive adaptation, those parts became anatomy, posture, weapon, and character.
The result is part sculpture, part functional lighting, and part frozen narrative. It has presence, posture, and a job to do.
By day, The First Draw reads as an expressive reclaimed-metal sculpture. Illuminated, the light intensifies the action and brings the moment fully to life.
