Long Stem
Original Reclaimed Metal Sculpture by Bobby Anderson, RVA246
Long Stem is a little sculpture built for something beautiful.
A slender figure stretches upward from a compact reclaimed-metal base, balancing a tiny metal vessel high above its head. Add a few fresh flowers and the entire piece changes. The sculpture becomes the stem, while the flowers become part of the work.
A green vintage glass marble marks the figure at its center, while another dark glass sphere anchors the base. Long, slightly curving steel lines give Long Stem an almost impossible sense of height and delicacy.
Use it with flowers, a single dramatic bloom, or leave it empty as a spare, whimsical sculpture.

Something Beautiful Belongs Up Here
Long Stem turns a handful of flowers into part of the sculpture. Empty, it is a lanky little character reaching skyward. Filled, it becomes something else entirely.
There is only one Long Stem.
