Flyboy looks ready for takeoff.
Built by hand from reclaimed metal, found objects, and repurposed components, this towering figure turns the machinery of another life into an aviator with attitude. Extended arms, elevated lights, and a strong mechanical stance give Flyboy the sense of being caught somewhere between ignition and flight.
Five light sources transform the sculpture when illuminated. Four standard bulbs rise from the figure like blazing jets, while a smaller light brings the head to life.

Built for Flight
Flyboy developed through intuitive adaptation, allowing the shapes and functions of salvaged objects to suggest anatomy, movement, and character.
His wide stance and outstretched arms create a strong silhouette even when unlit. Turn on the lights and the character changes. What appeared mechanical becomes animated, with light functioning as part of the sculpture itself.
Large, playful, and impossible to ignore, Flyboy brings sculpture, illumination, ingenuity, and personality into the room.
